I liked this event up to this, but the finale was pretty farking weak.
People who supposedly "have a life" won't care about not getting a silly cap in a video game. Now stop going around in the threads declaring how you have a life and everyone who showed up last night as "no lifes"

GnomeSmasher: I'm sure you have a hat.

Yep. I have 2 characters with 2 hats each. I even helped my girlfriend get a hat for all four of her characters. I basically stayed logged on the whole day/night. But you know what? It wasn't hard at all just to stay afk and switch districts.

And nice try with the implication. I'm old and practically married with kids... I've done all my New Year's partying in my youth already. So whatever with "having no life"

The Pumpkin Crown is so so so so much more entertaining than the Yule Cap and the Antler Horns. I have a feeling these will sit in my storage unused while I use my Pumpkin Crown for my personal amusement.

Sorry for those that missed the event. One of my friends visited between midnight and 1 AM last night, but couldn't stay awake to get his hat. Oh well, that's the penalty you pay.

By the way, playing Snowball fight stunk drunk from Champagne and Asti Spumante after everyone's gone to bed on New Year's Eve is the ONLY way to play GuildWars...

I haven't got any hats nor saw the event. First worked whole night, then slept the whole day.
